Abstract Text: The abstract should be in the form of bolded structured headings (with blank line spaces between each section) as follows:
Aims: Write your aims here.
Methods: Write your methods here.
Results: Write your results here.
Conclusions and / or Clinical Practice Point: Write your conclusion here.
References: References may be included either “inline” in the abstract text or in a list following the abstract. The style of the references should follow either the Harvard or APA method.
Case Study: If you are submitting a case study, please use case, discussion, conclusion and/or clinical practice point
The general specifications are:
The maximum length of the abstract, including references, is 300 words.
Abbreviations may be used but must be spelt out in full at the first mention followed by the abbreviation in parentheses.
Do not include graphs, tables or images
Do not include the abstract title or authors
Please note there are limited spaces available in the programme for oral and poster presentations, and priority will be given to those submissions which describe an innovative approach as described. All abstracts will be reviewed by the committee for inclusion in the oral and poster presentations at the conference.
